Volunteers Program

Under an agreement with Karl Kuebel Stiftung, Germany, two German Volunteers stay at NMCT- ABHAYA under Weltwaerts youth program every year to do a voluntary service to deprived children of India. They live with the children in the home from September - March every year and helpe the children in their routine life, support them in their quality education, teach them English, German, give them an exposure to handle computer, creative drawing , independent decision making and rational thinking. In turn they learn about the Indian culture, communal living ,Indian customs and rituals, the economy and visit a few places in India.

They also make field visits to various project activities, interact with the communities/beneficiaries and document them. The Volunteers program bridges the Indo – German relationship and exchange programs.
